Girls' Day Out

Here we go. TWO (too) unfunny posts in a row. Sorry.
Daddy was gone at a conference so we went to the North Shore.

Acai bowls, farmer's market, Turtle Bay beach (where I never go, but the waves were too big everywhere), and home.

I have never had tasted star fruit before, but it looks delicious!

Hi! that acai bowl looks awesome. was that from shark's cove grill? your thoughtful post below struck a chord...i had a nightmare this week with a similar situation, but i hadn't heard of this sad story. i often find myself horrified that there are so many pain ridden situations in this world...we all know pain, but there are too many truly torturous experiences that i can hardly wrap my head around.

KK introduced us to Acai bowls when we were there in May- must say it is a perfect breakfast while sitting there watching the waves! Your little girl is the cutest thing ever!

what a fun day! and thanks for posting again, i was getting a bit impatient. haha! your daughter is so pretty. and why did i keep touching her hair at seusical? another embarrassing moment during that short intermission. there's too many to count actually.

oh, a quick and totally unrelated story. when i first started to follow you on twitter, you tweeted about how you had just ordered a food processor (on sale @macy's). b/c u informed me of the sale, i went and did the same thing and now i'm in love with my fp forever more. thank you for that. hope jake comes home safe.
