Dinner

What Amaya's been saying lately:

"I eating cat food, Mommy. Look! Like goldfish!" (the crackers)

"I eating Polly Pocket, Mommy. Yum yum."

"I have money." (what she didn't add, "in my mouth.")

Then, during dinner, several days in a row:

"NO! NO! I don't want it!"

"Ugh. That's rubbish."

"Yuck. I want to spit it out."

I think she's figured out that I'm developing a complex over this.

hee hee. I forget how cute and funny they are when they're small. And how much less time you have to watch 24 and blog and get prepared for you high school classes.

I sent the cute Savers shirt with Tatum today.

Maybe if you try serving her something inedible -- say, a bowl of nuts and bolts -- at the dinner table, then she'll go looking for real food in between meals.

(I'm just trying to think outside the box -- or inside the tool box -- or something.)
